About me
I am a Veterinary Physiotherapist offering a mobile clinic in Hampshire and surrounding areas. I am lucky enough to work in the rewarding world of veterinary physiotherapy and rehabilitation. I pride myself in ensuring I provide the best possible service to the animals I treat.
One of my key goals is to work with each patient creating an evidence-based treatment programme which considers the animals character, the condition being treated and the owner involved in the process.
I consider it important to remain flexible in order to meet the different expectations and requirements your animal deserves. Whilst adhering to the high standards in order to deliver the best care for your animal.
“The relationship between Lisa and Stella is just adorable! So when Lisa said she was starting physiotherapy in your own home, we jumped at the chance to join her. I can’t recommend her highly enough. If you have an animal that needs rehabilitation or physiotherapy for maintenance (like Stella), please check her out”
My story
Following a family dogs diagnosis of hip dysplasia I saw the benefits of conservative therapies to manage such conditions. I soon qualified and began working as a small animal hydrotherapist. I quickly became interested in the land based aspect of rehabilitation so I studied at the University of Nottingham and completed my postgraduate diploma in veterinary physiotherapy.
I am currently still studying at the University of Nottingham towards my Level 7 MSc in Veterinary Physiotherapy. I believe it is important to continue learning to ensure I am always using the most up to date methods for the patients I treat.
This is my very special boy ‘Bob’ or ‘Bobble’ who I rescued at 11 months old following his right hind amputation. He requires ongoing physiotherapy and is a daily reminder of having a tailor made physiotherapy plan which can be adapted to the needs of the animals should anything change.
